Vic laser removal thief in hairy situation

A beauty-conscious thief is wanted over the theft of a laser hair removal machine from a Melbourne store.

Police say the machine, which needs to be operated by a qualified beauty technician, was stolen from the Ascot Vale shop between 8pm on October 18 and 8am on October 19.

Police on Wednesday released an image of a similar machine in the hope someone may recognise it.
