Victorian premier Daniel Andrews is touting his government's fast start in its first 117 days, with an overhaul of public transport underway.
Planning for major public transport projects includes an overhaul of the Cranbourne-Pakenham rail line announced on Tuesday, the removal of 50 level crossings, an upgrade to Flinders Street Station, and the Melbourne Metro Rail Project.
"In each of these areas we have shown a willingness to get on with things," Mr Andrews told the CEDA luncheon in Melbourne, where he is outlining his policy priorities and investment plans.
