Vic flood warning issued for Snowy River

Parts of the Snowy River are expected to flood farming areas on Victoria's east coast.

Rain, brought with a low pressure system from NSW, only glanced most of the far east of the state although some areas received more than 170mm rainfall over four days.

Emergency Victoria says a major flood warning is in place for the Snowy River and a minor flood warning is in place for the Cann, Genoa, Bombala, Mitchell and Tambo rivers.
