Fire bans in place for parts of Victoria fire ahead of scorching temperatures

Victoria is set for a scorcher tomorrow, with a total fire ban declared in three districts across the state.

A total fire ban has been declared in the Mallee, Wimmera and North Central districts, where the fire danger is listed as severe, the CFA said.

Temperatures in Melbourne are predicted to hit 38C while the Mallee and Wimmera are expected to reach the low 40s.
