Vic Everest climber's body home soon

The body of Melbourne university lecturer Marisa Strydom, who died on Mount Everest, will return to Australia in the coming days.

Ms Strydom's sister Aletta Newman told AAP on Monday arrangements were being made to bring her body home within the next day or two.

The 34-year-old died of altitude sickness in her husband's arms on their way back down the mountain on May 20.
