Vic driveway accident kills elderly woman

An elderly Melbourne woman has died after being hit by a car being backed out of her driveway by her daughter.

The woman was standing near the reversing car in the driveway of a Box Hill North home when she was hit on Wednesday afternoon, police said.

The woman's daughter was helping her mother back her vehicle out of the driveway.
