Vic driver speeds for toilet break

A Melbourne driver caught travelling at nearly twice the legal speed limit has told police he was speeding because his passenger needed a toilet.
The 22-year-old man was driving at 109 km/h in a 60 zone when police pulled him over around 4am Thursday.
The driver, who had two passengers in the car, was on an international licence.

Police say the man's car was impounded for 30 days at a cost of $689 and he is expected to be charged on summons.
