A man in Melbourne's east has been fined hundreds of dollars for driving "a rolling disaster" after police spotted a large jumble of household items on his trailer.
Police fined the 43-year-old man a total of $835 for towing the overloaded trailer in Scoresby about 11am on Thursday.
"This was a rolling disaster waiting to happen," highway patrol officer Senior Constable Peter Everett said.
