Vic 'drink driver' nabbed after pursuit

A suspected drink driver has been charged with multiple traffic offences after he crashed into a concrete barrier in Melbourne, before fleeing with his male passenger.

Police noticed a Ford Falcon driving erratically at Ferntree Gully at about 12.40am on Monday and tried to intercept the car, which crashed shortly afterwards.

A 21-year-old man allegedly returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.108 and is due to appear at the Ringwood Magistrates Court at a later date, while a 25-year-old man was released.
