Vic dairy company rips-off backpackers

A Victorian dairy company has ripped-off two backpackers who were packing infant formula destined for the Chinese market.
The factory, Viplus Dairy in Toora, underpaid the two Taiwanese workers $7400 over three months last year and said the lower wage was justified because it provided the workers with "free" accommodation.
The Fair Work Ombudsman said the factory agreed to repay the workers and has now revised its workplace practices.
