Vic crash victims were 'spectacular' girls

Teenage sisters killed when their car collided with a ute in country Victoria have been remembered as "spectacular" girls who had "so many more adventures to chase".

Nikita McAlpine, 18, and Kelsey McAlpine, 15, died in the collision on Sunday at Omeo, in East Gippsland, while the ute driver is in a critical condition.

A fundraiser for the girls' parents has so far raised more than $15,000, with family friend Jessie Symons writing on Facebook for the teens to "chase your dreams up in the sky".
