Vic man in court over gun, drugs

A man will appear in court charged with multiple firearm and drug offences after police found a loaded gun and the drug ice in a stolen car.

The Spotswood man, 35, will appear before the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Wednesday charged with being a prohibited person possessing a firearm, carrying a loaded firearm, as well as drug and driving offences.

The man was one of three people arrested on Monday when police spotted a stolen car being driven erratically.

A 25-year-old man has also been charged with theft, firearms and drugs offences, while a woman, 28, is expected to be charged with drug and theft offences.
