Two Victorian water police have been reprimanded after taking a police boat out for a surfing trip.
The pair had been on a training exercise at Swan Island on March 2, before they jumped in the boat and headed to an isolated surfing spot nearby, the Herald Sun reports.
A spokesman for Victoria police confirmed on Thursday two water police members "used a boat for personal use" and disciplinary action had been taken.
