Vic cop charged with drink driving

A police officer who crashed a car in regional Victoria has been charged with drink driving.
The male sergeant was charged on Wednesday with drink driving, careless driving, drive manner dangerous and other traffic offences.
The alleged incident happened in Ballarat on September 28 while the officer was off-duty.

He has been suspended without pay to appear in the Ballarat Magistrates Court on February 16.
