Vic CFA dispute turns violent

Victoria's firefighters pay dispute has turned ugly after police were called to an altercation at a Melbourne newsagency.

A fight broke at the Diamond Creek newsagency on Wednesday morning after a man, wearing a firefighters union t-shirt, asked for all "Back the CFA" stickers in the shop, Fairfax reports.

Police on Thursday confirmed an Arthurs Seat man, 51, had been arrested and is likely to be charged with unlawful assault over the fracas, in which another man, 63, sustained minor injuries.
