Victoria may not hit its target for fuel reduction burnoffs ahead of summer because of industrial action.
The Australian Workers Union has launched industrial action with staff at the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning involved in burnoffs.
"We have planned burning targets and they need to be met, and the union movement and the government need to sort out their differences," Opposition leader Matthew Guy told reporters on Tuesday.
