Vic budget: What's been announced so far

CRIME

* $2 billion for more police and other Community Safety Statement initiatives

* $308 million to overhaul management of serious, violent offenders

* $81.1 million for rehabilitation beds, aboriginal health workers and drug treatment services under the Ice Action Plan

* $28.6 million over four years to identify mental health support clients at risk of entering the criminal justice system

INFRASTRUCTURE

* $1.45 billion for regional rail, contingent on federal money coming through from the Melbourne Port sale

* $271.55 million to complete the third stage of the Melbourne Park redevelopment

* $10 million to investigate options for a private Melbourne airport rail link

HEALTH

* $81.1 million to expand the Maternal Child Health Service

* $8.3 million for genomic testing for people with rare conditions and diseases for quicker diagnosis and treatment

* $63.2 million to expand the Monash Medical Centre emergency department with an exclusive area for children

* $15.56 million for real time monitoring system to ensure faster response to large scale emergencies like the thunderstorm asthma event

* $17 million for personal safety technology for family violence victims

THE REGIONS

* $1.6 million to rebuild the Wangaratta State Emergency Service headquarters

* $1 million for community consultation on a new Shepparton education plan

* $3.9 million for planning and design of Geelong's Kardinia Park redevelopment

* $1.8 million to build a new Emerald State Emergency Service unit
