Vic woolshed destroyed by fire
Firefighters have managed to save a bikie clubhouse in regional Victoria after a blaze broke out in a woolshed next door.
The disused woolshed in Benalla was completely destroyed in the suspicious fire that was started before midnight on Thursday, the CFA says.
The fire authority initially reported the neighbouring bikie clubhouse had been destroyed but later on Friday clarified only the shed had been razed.
"Benalla and surrounding brigades did a terrific job, contained it to the building, ensuring it didn't spread to neighbouring properties, including a motorcycle clubhouse," duty officer Adrian Gutsche said in a statement.
The shed is not linked to the motorcycle club.
The blaze has been deemed by suspicious fire investigators and police officers.
