Victoria is to abolish its $75 on-the-spot fines for public transport fare evasion.
Topping up a myki card online will also take 90 minutes instead of 24 hours under the changes.

An Ombudsman's report has slammed the on-the-spot fine system as "ludicrous" and recommended changes to the confusing concession fare system.
