The chief executive of Victoria's troubled regional train service V/Line will appear before a parliamentary committee on Tuesday.
The chief executives of Public Transport Victoria and Metro Trains will also appear before the committee at midday.
V/Line has had to cancel hundreds of services since January 16 over maintenance problems with wheels and an issue with boom gates not triggering properly.
