Two Vic union officials banned from sites

Two Victorian CFMEU officials have been refused entry permits to construction sites because the workplace regulator does not believe they are "fit and proper" people.
The Fair Work Commission rejected applications by Alex Tadic and Drew MacDonald to renew their right of entry - which allows them to carry out CFMEU business on work sites - because both men have failed to show they won't repeat previous misconduct.
Fair Work Building and Construction director Nigel Hadgkiss said the permits should not be treated as "tickets allowing site access for officials who want to behave unlawfully".
