Two to stand trial over $130m Vic ice bust

Two Taiwanese men arrested in one of Australia's largest ice seizures will stand trial after pleading not guilty to trafficking a commercial quantity the drug worth $130 million.

Chun Lan, 28, and Ming Hsuan Ou, 23, along with two others were arrested after police seized suitcases from a Melbourne city apartment that allegedly contained about 135 kilograms of the drug, last July.

Lan and Ou pleaded not guilty to trafficking a commercial quantity of ice in the Melbourne Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

The two other men arrested, Shu Yi Lin, 20, and Li Ping Chen, 23, pleaded guilty to the same charge on Monday.

Lan and Ou were committed to stand trial and will return to the court on Wednesday for a directions hearing.

They were remanded into custody.

Police estimate the haul to have a street value of $130 million.
