Two men shot in separate Vic incidents

Two men have been shot in separate incidents in Melbourne's north overnight.

Police say they first received reports of a shooting in Dallas about 12.30am on Thursday.

They searched the area, and a short time later a man aged in his 20s checked in to a nearby hospital with a leg injury.

About an hour later, another man aged in his 20s was found in a car in Jacana with a gunshot wound to his pelvis.

Paramedics took the man to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a stable condition.

At this stage, police say the incidents are not related.

They will speak to the two men on Thursday.
