Two men dead, one critical after separate crashes on Victorian roads

Two men have died and another is fighting for life after three separate crashes on Victorian roads overnight.

Police were called to Davanzo Avenue, Clarinda, after a Ford sedan travelling west left the road and struck a pole about 10.45pm.

A male passenger in the car died at the scene.

The driver, a 37-year-old man from Springvale, was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Meanwhile, a 55-year old man died in Cobram after his Toyota utility rolled on Campbell Road about 8.30pm, police said.

Emergency services were called to a third crash at Springvale Road this morning after a car travelling north-bound left the road and crashed into a pole about 5.15am.

The passenger in the rear seat of the car, a 20-year-old man, received life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.

The driver of the car, a 24-year-old man, is currently assisting police with their enquiries.

Authorities continue to investigate the causes of the crashes.
