Two dead in separate Vic accidents
A teenage woman has died in central Victoria after her car crashed into a tree.
Police say the vehicle was headed west on Odea Road at Koyuga, some time on Saturday night or Sunday morning.
Emergency services were called to the site where they discovered the driver, believed to be a teenage woman, dead at the scene.
Several hours later a man died when his car crashed into an oncoming truck in Melbourne's west.
Police say it's believed his car was travelling north on Hopkins Road at Truganina when it veered into the truck as it headed south just after 4am on Sunday.
The man was the sole occupant and is yet to be identified.
The state's road toll stands at 242, compared to 227 for the same period last year, police said.
