Two charged over Melbourne crime spree

Two men have been charged with 35 offences after a crime spree spanning three Melbourne suburbs.

A 29-year-old Burnside man and a 26-year-old Melton man were both charged with a range of burglary, theft, drug, driving and bail offences.

The Melton man was also charged with assaulting police and both have been remanded to appear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Sunday.

The crimes all occurred in Toolern Vale, Diggers Rest and Bacchus Marsh on Saturday.

Police are still looking for a large amount of the stolen property including motorbikes, trailers, a 4WD buggy, a bobcat, power tools and household items.
