Two arrested over Melbourne fatal hit-run

Two people have been arrested over a fatal hit-and-run crash which killed a Melbourne university student.

The pair was being taken to Dandenong police station on Tuesday afternoon, a day after police made a public appeal for information on two people wanted over the crash at Clayton.

Nisali Perera, 20, died at the scene after the driver of a dark-coloured wagon hit her in Clayton on Thursday night.
