Truckie 'forces Melbourne car off road'

Police are searching for a truck driver who allegedly forced another driver off the road in northwest Melbourne.

The truck driver deliberately rammed his vehicle into a car on the Western Ring Road in East Keilor three times on Tuesday morning, causing the other driver to crash into the median strip and a light pole, police say.

He then left the ring road, driving across three lanes.

The 48-year-old car driver from Hillside escaped with minor injuries.
