Three die on Vic roads in 24 hours

Three men have died and another remains in a serious condition after three separate car crashes in Victoria.
Two crashes happened within an hour of each other and in similar circumstances, with a man at Doveton and another man at Timboon West both hitting trees after 6pm.
Earlier on Monday, a truck driver died and another man was taken to hospital with serious injuries after their cars collided at Harston in country Victoria.

Police are investigating the fatal crashes.
Victoria's road toll rises to 166, 24 more than in 2015.
