Tonnes of GHB imitation found in Melb

Almost four tonnes of a depressant which mimics the effect of recreational drug GHB, have been uncovered during raids in Melbourne.
During searches in Brunswick, Flemington, Braybrook and Coburg on Tuesday police say they found cash, six kilograms of ecstasy, three kilograms of ice, 15kg of dried cannabis and 3.8 tonnes of the depressant 1,4 butanediol.
Five men and a woman faced court on Tuesday night charged with trafficking a large commercial quantity of illicit drugs and will reappear at Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
