Toddler killed in Adelaide driveway crash

A toddler has died after being struck by a car in a driveway in Adelaide's northern suburbs.

The one-year-old boy was hit on Lancaster Avenue in Parafield Gardens just before 5:30pm on Wednesday and could not be saved by emergency services, police have said.

The driver, a 49-year-old Salisbury man, was not hurt and is helping police with their investigation into the crash.
