Thieves attempt to smash into Vic store

Three men wearing balaclavas have been caught on camera attempting to smash their way into a Melbourne jewellery store.

The store's security alarm was activated just after 2.15pm on Saturday and the armed men were unable to get in.

Police say staff and customers inside at the time were not physically injured and are calling on anyone with information to come forward.
