Fog lifts across Melbourne CBD, suburbs
AAP
Thick fog blanketing Melbourne CBD and suburbs has finally lifted with the sun peaking through after drivers had been urged to take extra care on the roads.
The fog had made road conditions "dangerous" for drivers on Sunday due to the reduced visibility in the eastern and southeastern suburbs, the weather bureau warned.
The sky began to clear in the afternoon after fog had rolled into the CBD from about 9am.

The temperature is expected to hit a top of 13C in Melbourne on Sunday before more fog rolls in on Monday.
