OCTOBER 16, 2005 - The Stoccos are stopped by NSW Police near Wagga Wagga and the pair allegedly open fire. The duo allegedly shoot at officers again when spotted in Mangoplah a short time later

OCTOBER 17 - The car in which the Stoccos were travelling is found abandoned near Wagga Wagga in southern NSW

OCTOBER 19 - Stoccos are spotted in Victoria's northeast at a service station in Euroa. A Toyota Landcruiser with a distinctive white bull bar is reported stolen from a property at Little Billabong, near Holbrook

OCTOBER 21 - They are spotted in Glenburn in central Victoria. Police set up a command post in Yea, just 110km from Melbourne's CBD, and narrow the hunt to a 100-square kilometre area

OCTOBER 22 - The Stoccos speed away from police after being spotted on a Castella highway at 1am. A police helicopter joins the manhunt. Police investigate whether the fugitives are responsible for a police car being rammed near Lake Rowan
