Gang teens charged over Vic crime spree

A 13-year-old girl is one of four teenagers charged over a six-day crime spree in Melbourne's southeast.

The teens were arrested at a Dandenong motel by detectives from Taskforce Tense which was originally set up to tackle the notorious Apex youth crime gang.

Investigators found an SUV stolen from Cranbourne parked outside the motel, Victoria Police said on Tuesday.

The girl and her accomplices face an array of charges including aggravated burglary and car theft that relate to incidents in Flemington, Hallam, Narre Warren, Dandenong, Mulgrave, Pakenham and Cranbourne.

It's alleged the crimes took place between June 1 and June 6.

Three of the teens, including the 13-year-old girl, another girl aged 16 and a 16-year-old boy, were remanded in custody while an 18-year-old male was bailed to appear at a children's court at a later date.
