Teen remanded over Fountain Gate stabbing

A teenage girl accused of stabbing another girl in the neck at a Melbourne shopping centre has again been remanded into custody.
The 16-year-old, who can't be named, is charged with attempted murder and intentionally causing serious injury after the incident outside Fountain Gate shopping centre on June 5.
Her alleged victim, also 16, was found bleeding on a footpath and needed emergency surgery.

The accused girl was taken into custody soon after the incident and her case is regularly reviewed by the Children's Court.
She will next return to court on October 13 before she fronts a committal hearing on October 26.
