Teen girl hospitalised after Vic bus fire

A teenage girl has been hospitalised after a bus caught fire in Melbourne.

The bus carrying 42 teenagers and two adults caught fire on the Citylink Freeway at Burnley on Wednesday morning, Ambulance Victoria reported, unable to provide details of the cause of the fire.

The girl was taken to the Royal Children's Hospital in a stable condition as a precaution, while 18 other passengers were checked by medics at the scene.
