Teen dies in Melbourne car crash

A teenager has died following a single-car collision in Melbourne, while his passenger has been rushed to hospital.
The 18-year-old driver died when he lost control of the car in Malvern East and crashed into a tree early on Friday morning.
His passenger, an 18-year-old Ashburton man, was taken to hospital.
