Tas burns make for smokey Vic coast

Fires burning in Tasmania are causing smokey conditions on Victoria's coastline.
Residents in Wilsons Promontory and surrounding areas have reported significant levels of smoke in the region.
"There is currently a large number of planned burn activities being conducted by the Tasmanian Fire Service and it is believed that the reported spoke is a result of drift from these fires," the CFA said on Friday.

Towns impacted by the smoke include Fish Creek, Foster, Port Welshpool, Sandy Point, Tidal River, Toora, Venus Bay, Walkerville, Waratah Bay, Wilsons Promontory and Yanakie.
