Suspicious fire at disused Vic school

A suspicious fire has gutted a disused Melbourne primary school.

The old Laverton Park Primary School was totally alight when firefighters arrived early on Thursday morning, the Metropolitan Fire Brigade said.

The fire has been deemed suspicious and police have been informed.
