Supreme Court trial for Vic Airbnb case
AAP
A trial set to test the legality of Airbnb in Victoria is due to start next month.
Melbourne tenants Barbara Uecker and Michael Greaves face legal action from their landlord Catherine Swan, after they used the popular short-stay website to rent a room of their St Kilda apartment.
Ms Swan went to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal in March in a bid to end their tenancy but lost, so she has taken the case to the Victorian Supreme Court and a trial is due to start on June 2.
