Stolen gun found in car ditched in Melb

A stolen gun has been found in a car ditched in Melbourne after police attempted to pull over the driver.
The weapon was found on Monday afternoon in the back seat of the car, abandoned in Glenroy.
Police later arrested a 28-year-old Diggers Rest man and a 33-year-old man from Craigieburn and the pair face charges including car theft, possessing the proceeds of crime and weapons offences.
