Stolen car crashes twice, gun fired in Vic

Three people are on the run after reportedly firing a gun and crashing a stolen car twice in Melbourne before abandoning the vehicle.

The offenders crashed the stolen 4WD into a pole in the northern suburb of Reservoir on Friday afternoon and police say one of the trio may have discharged a firearm after the collision.

They then fled in the damaged vehicle and it was later found in an alley in Brunswick East after it smashed into five parked cars.
