A man has died in a light plane crash in regional Victoria.
Police say the 57-year-old, from Boeill Creek in NSW, was the pilot and sole occupant of the small plane.
He crashed at the intersection of Seventeenth Street and Dyer Avenue, Cabarita, near Mildura, about 6.30pm on Friday while flying from Moorabbin to Mildura.

The plane, which landed several kilometres from Mildura Airport, has been completely destroyed.
About a dozen homes appear to have lost power in Dyer Avenue.
