Shots fired at Melbourne homes

Detectives are investigating two shootings overnight on Tuesday in Melbourne's southeast.

The front windows of a Hallam house were shattered when it was peppered with up to five shots early on Wednesday.

Three people inside the home were uninjured.

Emergency services also went to a home in nearby Noble Park just after midnight following reports of gunfire and a man with injuries to his upper body.

An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said the man was assessed but didn't require further treatment and wasn't taken to hospital.
