Shorten in the dark on alleged Vic rorts

Opposition leader Bill Shorten says he knows nothing about an alleged Victorian Labor parliamentary allowances scam.
The state Labor government was rocked this week by allegations MP printing allowances had been scammed to fund branch stacking operations in Melbourne's west, which takes in Mr Shorten's electorate.
"We know absolutely nothing about this situation and had no engagement. Of course it is very serious and I would expect it to be fully investigated," he told reporters on Friday.
