Service medals stolen in Melbourne

Service medals from World War II and the Vietnam War have been stolen from a Melbourne home.
The miniature medals, along with a Victorian Cadet Forces Service medal and an amount of costume jewellery were taken from a Moonee Ponds home between September 1 and September 3, police said.
The Vietnam War medals have the number '21872' engraved on their rear, while the Victorian Cadet Forces Service Medal has '8020539' inscribed and anyone with information should contact CrimeStoppers on 1800 333 000.
