A second teenager has been charged with murder over a fatal stabbing in Melbourne.

The 17-year-old from Hillside will appear at a children's court on Monday charged with murder, armed robbery and intentionally causing serious injury over the attack on two other teens at Kings Park on September 28.

Co-accused Joshua Horton, 18, appeared in Melbourne Magistrates Court on Wednesday charged with killing Maaka Hakiwai, 17, during the altercation.
