Second person dies after Vic crash

A 92-year-old man has died as a result of a crash in Victoria that has already claimed the life of an 80-year-old woman.

The woman died after the McCrae man apparently lost control of his car on a bend and hit a tree at Mornington on Monday.

He was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries but died on Tuesday morning, taking the state's road toll to 93 compared to 85 for the same time last year.
