The search for a kayaker missing in a Victorian lake is set to stretch into a third day.
The 36-year-old kayaker from Mitcham was paddling on Lake Eildon on Tuesday when his kayak capsized about 2pm.
Three friends watching from their campsite on the shore raised the alarm.

Water police, the air wing, and search and rescue teams searched the lake on Tuesday and again on Wednesday, but as nightfall neared they hadn't found the missing man.
Authorities, including SES and CFA crews, will resume searching early on Thursday morning, a police spokesman said.
